NGU 2026 Tournament Schedule
July 13, 2026
3 Person Scramble
This is an NGU Only Event, NO GUESTS!!!. All players will contribute the normal weekly NGU Club entry amount ($45) to the prize fund. All players must contribute to play in the tournament, NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
Team captains (See Scramble Roster) will be picked at 8:30am and the captains will choose members for their team in a round robin format. If you are not there and entry fee paid before 8:30am you will not be picked and will not be eligible to play. Teams will NOT be rearranged for you!!! The total prize fund that was collected will be awarded to all teams from first to last place. Each team prize will be determined by the size of the prize fund. There will also be a separate individual closest to the pin on all par 3’s (1st – $75 / 2nd – $50). Thanks Jay! Each team MUST use 6 tee shots from each member of the 3 person team.
All NGU members not playing in the tournament can still attend the party after golf at the Waiehu Park behind hole 8.
Members who have been involved in at least one “no call, no show” incident, will be placed on the waiting list and will be notified if there is room for them to play on Sunday night.
Good Luck! NO WHINNING IS IN EFFECT!!!
January 19, 2026
Double Elimination Match Play (Several Weeks)
All players will have matches scheduled between other members of which matches will be chosen by blind draw of all player entries.
There will be two separate brackets of which play will be determined. The Winners bracket and the Losers bracket. Everyone will start in the Winners bracket. If one loses the match, the player will move to the Losers bracket for another chance to win in that bracket. If the player loses another match, then the player will be eliminated from the tournament.
The players need not be present each week to participate, but when both players that are scheduled to have a match are present the match will proceed. The players should play in the same group, it is not necessary, however it would be more competitive if done so. Player’s choice.
Ideally, we will have in the first bracket an “A” Flight player playing against a “B” flight player. This will be determined by the number of entries. Each Player will use their NGU handicap strokes in the match to determine the winner.
Players must submit their entries by January 16, 2026 to be eligible to play. Prize funds to be determined.
NOTE: Any match not completed in 4 weeks is automatically forfeited by player who has not been available, or by both players if both players have not been available to complete the match. Matches can be played on another day other than Mondays if schedules conflict in the time period.
